“Excellent location. It's a quick walk to all the lively spots, and you can easily catch a cheap ride to Hendaye for a day trip to Biarritz or other French towns.”

8Verified guest

“Modern and spacious room with tea available. Breakfast at the café was great.”

8Verified guest

“The room was modern and spotless. Facilities were very good and the bathroom was superb. Loved the complimentary water bottles, especially in summer. Great value for money.”

8Verified guest

“Great central spot near the railway line, with friendly staff who gave me a room with good amenities.”

8Verified guest

“My room was tastefully decorated and new. The bathroom was bigger than most I've seen in Europe. Despite being near the tracks, I never heard a thing – slept quietly all three nights. Gros is across the bridge from the old town and I felt safe as a solo female, even at night. The lobby coffee machine was a bonus. Both the manager and owner were lovely and wanted everything perfect. The manager gave great dinner suggestions. Perfect for a beach holiday (beach is a 15-20 minute walk, depending on pace).”

8Verified guest

“Good location, very nice and spacious room. Convenient parking at a reasonable price (city parking halls are pricey).”
